PANIC shirt #7 cropped!

Once a part of MUSCLE PANIC, a performance and installation I started in 2014, these shirts reclaim the PANIC (be it gay, trans, sex) that gets used to stoke cultural fear and stigma.

PROCESS: shirts are thrifted, laundered, any design present is covered over in a patching process that involves the fabric of another red shirt. The edges are zig-zag machine sewn, and then appliquéd with hand-cut Tyvek letters rendering the once undesirable "Fun Run for Whatever 2007" shirt into a canvas for P-A-N-I-C.

LENGTH (shoulder to bottom front)- 22"
MATERIAL- SHIRT, cotton. PANIC, tyvek.

CONDITION- ECU (excellent used condition) but do keep in mind, this is a shirt with a previous life, so a bit of wear and patina is inevitable ❤️

CARE- machine wash cold/warm, hang to dry, no direct heat on tyvek
